The Bird of Paradise

You will always see the Bird of Paradise when you are at Michele’s. Moreover than a symbol of beauty, this flower has deep meaning for owner Michele Wilkinson and her friendship with Kristina Barrett Biviano. More than anyone else, Kristina was the friend and colleague who inspired the path Michele’s follows today. Kristina began offering facials and esthetics to clients in a small back room of the salon. Her vision grew, and the complete day spa, in its current location, was opened in 1998. As a tribute to Kristina, Michele’s embraces the Bird of Paradise, because it was in her beloved Hawaii that Kristina lost her long struggle with ovarian cancer.
